Gabbi has a team of breast specialists that can order your breast MRI via telehealth in FL, MD, ME, MN, CT and they are adding new states each month. I don't think we as a society have put enough emphasis on the fact that parrots can talk. It’s crazy. Thankfully parrots are endearing. I mean relative to how much a bird can be. They are more cute in a "wow I am glad it's not a snake" kind of way.
We're lucky other birds didn't get that skill. Imagine pigeons in NYC could talk. No one would live here. Sure, there would be some trendy pigeons who sip their artisanal coffee on the west side highway while talking about how their marathon training is going.
But, mainly it would just be a new group giving you attitude on your commute to work. Pigeons would turn your morning walk into a roast session with everything they've overheard in the city. "Hey buddy, nice haircut. Did you lose a bet?"
Have you ever seen a baby pigeon? There's no way they are all born that size, looking like they just came off a 3-day bender. There must be a tiny pigeon dojo where they all train until they're ready to annoy us.
And I am sure there is one of those crazy facts about how pigeons are fundamental to the sustainability of our ecosystem, where they eat this rare bacteria that is keeping us alive. But, for a world without pigeons, I feel we should weigh our options.
